Ryerson Urban Water
Ryerson Urban Water (RUW) is a multi-disciplinary collective of experts whose research provides cost-effective solutions that support a healthy urban water cycle while promoting innovation in water education across societal boundaries.
RUW aims to be Canada’s preeminent institution on urban water issues, an international leader in sustainable and holistic urban water management through applied research (and innovation), education, community outreach, and policy development.
RUW has an intensive applied research mandate in the natural sciences, engineering, policy/regulatory, and socio-economic arenas, coupled with a comprehensive education focus. RUW is also the only academic establishment located both on a Great Lake and in the largest metropolitan region in Canada.
